Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2, 2026
Introduction
Push Deploy Labs (“Push Deploy Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a small independent studio that designs and builds mobile applications for iOS and Android. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our website, PushDeployLabs.com, and the mobile applications we publish (each, an “App,” and together with our website, the “Services”).
We believe a privacy policy should tell you what actually happens to your data in plain language, so we’ve tried to keep this one readable. We collect as little as we reasonably can, we don’t sell your personal information, and we try to be transparent about the tools we rely on.
This document is the general policy that applies across our Services. Because every app is different, an individual App may have its own additional or more specific privacy disclosures — for example, in the App Store or Google Play data-safety section, in an in-app notice, or in a supplemental policy. Where an App’s specific disclosures differ from this general policy, the App-specific disclosures govern for that App.
Some key terms
- Personal Data / Personal Information — information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked to you (for example, your name, email address, or a device identifier).
- Usage Data — information collected automatically through your use of the Services (for example, how you interact with an App, crash reports, and general diagnostics).
Information We Collect
We collect information in two main ways: information you give us directly, and information that is collected automatically when you use our Services.
Information you provide to us
Depending on the App and how you use it, you may choose to provide:
- Account and contact information — such as your name, email address, or username, if an App offers accounts or you contact us for support.
- Communications — the contents of messages you send us (for example, support requests, feedback, or bug reports).
- Purchases — if you buy something, the relevant App store (Apple or Google) processes your payment. We generally receive a confirmation and limited transaction details, but we do not receive or store your full payment card number.
Information collected automatically
When you use our Services, some information is collected automatically, which may include:
- Device and technical information — such as device model, operating system version, language and region settings, and app version.
- Identifiers — such as a device identifier or advertising identifier, and your IP address.
- Usage and diagnostic data — such as features used, in-app interactions, session information, crash logs, and performance diagnostics.
- Approximate location — coarse location derived from your IP address. We collect precise location only when an App’s specific feature requires it and you grant permission, and you can change or revoke that permission at any time in your device settings.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of data (such as health, biometric, or precise geolocation) unless a specific App requires it for a feature, in which case that App will disclose it and ask for the appropriate permission or consent.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the Services — to run our Apps, deliver the features you request, and keep things working.
- To improve our products — to understand how Apps are used, diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and make our Apps better.
- To communicate with you — to respond to your support requests, send important service or security notices, and, where you’ve agreed to it, share product updates.
- For safety and integrity — to detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues.
- To personalize your experience — to remember your preferences and tailor certain features, where an App offers this.
- To comply with the law — to meet our legal obligations and enforce our terms.
If you’re in a region covered by GDPR/UK GDPR, the legal bases we rely on for these uses are described in the European Users section below.
Third-Party Services & Analytics
To build and operate our Apps, we rely on a small number of reputable third-party providers. Depending on the App, these may include:
- Cloud hosting and storage (to run backend services and store data).
- Analytics and product insights (to understand usage and improve the Apps).
- Crash reporting and diagnostics (to detect and fix problems).
- App store and payment processing (Apple App Store and Google Play, which handle purchases).
- Sign-in providers (where an App offers third-party login, such as Sign in with Apple or Google).
Each App that uses these services should name them, or their categories, in its specific disclosures, along with what they receive. These providers only receive the information needed to perform their function, and we work to ensure that any third party with whom we share user data provides the same or equal level of protection for that data as described in this policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services an App relies on.
We aim to use privacy-friendly tools and to avoid behavioral advertising. If a specific App includes advertising or third-party ad SDKs, that App will disclose it.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality and to understand site usage. Our Apps may use device identifiers and similar technologies for the purposes described above. You can control cookies through your browser settings and manage device identifiers through your device’s privacy settings. We honor recognized opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) where applicable.
Data Sharing & Disclosure
We treat sharing your information as the exception, not the rule. We may share information in these limited situations:
- With service providers — the third-party vendors described above, who process data on our behalf and under our instructions.
- For legal reasons — when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, the public, or us.
- In a business transfer — if Push Deploy Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.
- With your consent — when you ask us to, or otherwise direct us to share your information.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under applicable law. If this ever changes for a specific App, that App will clearly disclose it and provide the required opt-out mechanism.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, after which we delete it or anonymize it.
- Account information is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward.
- Diagnostic and crash data is typically retained on a shorter, rolling basis sufficient to diagnose and fix issues.
- Support communications are kept as long as needed to address your request and for our records.
Where we are required to retain information to comply with legal, tax, or regulatory obligations, or to resolve disputes and enforce agreements, we keep it for the period required and then delete it. The exact periods vary by data type and by App; an App’s specific disclosures may provide more detail.
You can ask us to delete your data as described in Your Privacy Rights, and you can revoke previously granted consent (for example, by adjusting permissions in your device settings or contacting us).
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. These measures include encryption of data in transit, access controls, and limiting the data we collect in the first place.
That said, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where required by law.
Children’s Privacy
Most of our Apps are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under the minimum age required in your region, such as 16 in parts of the European Economic Area), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@pushdeploylabs.com and we will take steps to delete it.
If a specific App is directed to or intended for children, that App will provide a dedicated children’s privacy notice and will comply with applicable requirements — including the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Apple’s Kids Category rules, and Google Play’s Families policy. For such Apps this means, among other things, obtaining verifiable parental consent where required, minimizing data collection, avoiding third-party behavioral advertising, and giving parents the ability to review and request deletion of their child’s information.
International Users
Push Deploy Labs operates from, and uses service providers located in, various countries. This means your information may be processed in, or transferred to, countries other than the one in which you live — including countries that may have different data-protection laws than your own.
When we transfer personal information internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected, such as relying on adequacy decisions or appropriate safeguards like Standard Contractual Clauses where required. By using our Services, you understand that your information may be processed in these locations as described in this policy.
Your Privacy Rights
Subject to your location and applicable law, you may have rights over your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@pushdeploylabs.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by law and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
European Users (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Push Deploy Labs acts as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”);
- Restrict our processing of your data;
- Object to processing, including processing based on legitimate interests;
- Data portability — receive your data in a portable format;
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent (this does not affect processing already carried out); and
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
The legal bases we rely on are: performance of a contract (to provide the Services you request); consent (for optional analytics, communications, or features that ask for it); legitimate interests (to secure, maintain, and improve our Apps and prevent fraud and abuse, balanced against your rights); and legal obligation (to comply with the law). We will generally respond to requests within one month.
California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of parties we share it with;
- Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information; and
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information.
Over the past 12 months, we may have collected the following statutory categories of personal information: identifiers (such as name, email, IP address, and device identifiers); commercial information (such as purchases); internet or other electronic network activity (such as app usage and diagnostics); approximate geolocation; and inferences drawn to personalize the experience. We use this information for the business purposes described in How We Use Your Information.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because of this, we do not offer a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link — there is nothing to opt out of. If this changes for a specific App, that App will provide the required link and mechanism. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where applicable, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Other regions
If you are located elsewhere, you may have similar rights under your local laws. Contact us and we will do our best to honor your request consistent with applicable law.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, when we add features, change providers, or to reflect legal or regulatory developments. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we’ll provide a more prominent notice, such as an in-app message or a notice on our website. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the Services after an update takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
